Reliance Jio is testing Redmi K50i 5G support and Redmi Buds 3 Lite will be launched alongside it

Xiaomi and Reliance Jio have teamed up to test the upcoming Redmi K50i in the operator’s 5G network before his July 20th commencement. The Redmi K50i will boast a total of twelve 5G bands – namely the n1, n3, n5, n7, n8, n20, n28a, n38, n40, n41, n77 and n78 bands. The phone successfully passed several real-world tests such as streaming 4K content and cloud gaming. Xiaomi has also confirmed that the phone will arrive with a 144Hz refresh rate screen.

The Redmi K50i is expected be rebranded Redmi Note 11T Pro+ so we know what else to expect in terms of specs. Xiaomi India already confirmed will be equipped Size 8100 chipset.

We should also see a 64MP main camera along with an 8MP ultra-wide shooter and a 2MP macro module and a 16MP selfie camera. The battery should come to 4,400 mAh with support for 120W cable fast charging.

In related news, the Redmi K50i will be joined by the Redmi Buds 3 Lite wireless headphones. These will feature 6mm dynamic drivers, Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, up to 18 hours of playback and IP54 splash resistance.
