The Honor 70 just debuted in Great Britain and now joins our review queue. Here are our first impressions before the lengthy testing process is complete.

The phone we have is in Emerald Green, which is the nicest of the three available in Europe. We also like how thin the phone is – less than 8mm and the 2.5D curved sides make it very easy to handle.

The dual-ring design of the camera settings on the back has been around for over a year now, but this time the two rings aren’t connected on a raised island.

The top ring houses a 54MP main camera with a Sony IMX800 sensor, with a 2MP depth camera sitting just above, while the bottom is for a 50MP ultra-wide shooter and dual LED flash. Honor is really proud of this camera setup and we take the time to explore its performance.

The Honor 70 comes with Android 12 and Magic UI 6.1 and yes, it has Google Play services out of the box. The good thing is that this midranger has inherited some of the great traits it has Magic4 Pro the flagship has, as well as the ability to multitask with floating windows and suspending the application.
