Google has already teased its upcoming Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones, as well as the Pixel Watch, back in May at its I/O developer conference, and today the company is back with an actual date set for their full reveal. The timing of this reveal is definitely not related to the fact that Apple’s big fall event is tomorrow. Right?

The company also revealed the name of the new chipset that will be at the heart of the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, and it won’t be called Tensor 2 as everyone assumed, but Tensor G2 instead. “G” for Google, maybe?
Finally, Google has revealed the colors for the upcoming device. So the Pixel 7 will be available in Obsidian, Lemongrass and Snow, while the Pixel 7 Pro will be offered in Obsidian, Hazel and Snow.
