Apple Watch Pro leaked in CAD-based renders

Apple is preparing to hold its traditional annual September event this Wednesday and is expected to unveil the new iPhone 14 family along with new smartwatches. One of them, tentatively named Apple Watch Prowould be the highest quality and most “Pro” wearable the company has ever produced.

And today, less than 48 hours before the official unveiling, the Apple Watch Pro has been captured in some CAD-based renders. They show a sturdier model than past iterations of the Apple Watch, and rumors say it will have a 47 or 49mm case and a nearly 2″ display that will apparently be flat to better protect it from shocks.

That’s because, according to speculation, it will be a device aimed at competitors like Garmin – wearables for athletes and people who like to do things outdoors. Hence the larger size and probably increased robustness. It even has an extra button on the left side, though it’s not clear what it’s for right now.

The larger size will allow for a bigger battery, and according to past leaks, the Watch Pro will have a titanium case and low power mode. All of this may end up costing you dearly as the price of this smartwatch is said to be $900 to $1,000.

If for some reason the Apple Watch Pro (or whatever it’s going to be called) isn’t announced this week, then there’s always Apple’s October event to take care of it—that’s when new tablets and computers usually see the light of day. and this year can be no different.
